HyperJapan: The UK's Biggest Japanese Culture Event
Hyper Japan is the UK's biggest Japanese Culture Event and I was lucky enough to attend over the weekend. I absolutely adore Japanese Culture, from the history, the food, language, fashion and anime, there's so much to learn about Japan and it's all so fascinating! The event ran over three days, from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th, held at London's Earls Court and each day was jam packed full of things to do and see.

Apart from the stalls, there were two main events that I wanted to check out. One was the famous Cosplay Competition, showcasing some of the best Cosplay the UK has to offer. Some of the winners will actually go on to compete at the Japan Expo in Paris and the Japanese Cosplay Competition in Japan! The other event was the Japanese Kawaii Fashion Show, which was a super cute catwalk filled with so many different Japanese styles. Apart from those two events. there was also Japanese food tasting, Japanese food demonstrations, Sake (Japanese wine) tasting, Jrock performance, Samurai performances, traditional music and also game playing from the new WiiU and also Studio Ghibli's brand new game for Playstation!

There are also so many stalls to look at! If you're looking for something traditional, they have it! If you want cute, there are lots of stalls selling so many Kawaii things. From Hello Kitty to Totoro, cute wigs, clothing and even Kyary Pamyu Pamyu accessories! When shopping is tiring you out, you can head over to the food section and be prepared to be blown away by the most amazing aroma of Japanese food. All freshly prepared and cooked for you there and then, you can get the real taste of Japan. Noodles, rice, curry, meat, vegan, vegetarian, they cater for everyone and it's all so amazing. If you have more of a sweet tooth, Japanese sweet pancakes stuffed with chocolate custard might make you smile. Also, the Tofu Cute stall and Sushi Noms was selling a variety of different Japanese snacks, from Pocky to Panda biscuits, Green Tea flavoured KitKats and Japanese Soda!

I seriously had the best time at HyperJapan. If you're a Japanese Culture lover, or you adore cute things and want to try new things, then I strongly suggest that you grab yourself a ticket for next years event!
